When it finally jumps into the air, watch the shadow to avoid its fall and positing to the rear of the beast. The Stair Beast will run rampant around the room, but giving Luigi plenty of time to dodge out of the way. That said, the boss fight is fairly simple. The Possessor ghost takes on an interesting form, the stairs of the Tree House, and resembles more of a giant beast with gnashing teeth. As you approach them, the torches will reignite, forcing more trial and errors to find the true path.Īfter an exhausting climb, the path to the boss will finally be accessible.īoss Battle: Harsh Possessor (Tree house stairs) The only way to know what the right stairs to climb seems to be after choosing the wrong set and defeating a Greenie, the real sets of stairs will not have their torches ignited. Climbing the right set of stairs will turn the torches to a normal color, signifiying the true path. Only one of the three sets is real, the others will turn into slides that will slide Luigi back to the bottom, where a Greenie or a Slammer will laugh at your expense, and must be defeated. In order to proceed you must climb one of the three sets of stairs to the next landing. Each section of the stairs has a pair of blue torch lights. A seemingly endless staircase, seperated into three sets of stairs, with small landings in between the stairs. Prepare for one of the most annoying rooms in all of the game. Luigi will automatically enter the next area, the Eerie Staircase.
